C P Hire Ltd

C P Hire Ltd was established in 1971 and has been in business for over 50 years. It is a family run company. The company operates seven depots throughout Northern Ireland, located in Ballymena, Banbridge, Belfast, Coleraine, Derry, Dungannon and Magherafelt.

It stocks brands including Stihl and DeWalt for small tools, and plant brands including Bomag, Hitachi, Komatsu, Kubota, Terex and JCB. C P Hire Ltd has two employees with thirty-five years of service each. It specialises in plant, tool, powered access and site cabin hire.

Contractors and tradespeople hiring plant for construction and groundwork repeatedly highlight the counter team's helpfulness as the defining feature of this Belfast operation. The machinery available, spanning breaking tools through to powered access platforms, draws praise for both its breadth and its condition, with customers noting that items arrive well maintained and ready for use. Pricing is described as fair and on several occasions more competitive than elsewhere, a point raised across different types of job. When breakdowns occur, the response is recounted as swift, with fitters attending promptly to get equipment running again.

Reviewers also mention that staff combine friendliness with practical knowledge, guiding customers towards the right tool for the task. A willingness to accommodate requests, including at short notice, comes up often, and the same standard is reported across the company's depots in Duncrue, Tamnamore and Banbridge. The consistency of the fleet, from small tools to larger plant, underpins the impression that customers can rely on what they collect. For those hiring equipment for site work, the blend of dependable machinery, clear pricing and a team that goes out of its way to assist is what keeps them coming back.
