CMR Scaffolding Swansea

CMR Scaffolding Swansea is a scaffolding and access hire provider with over 30 years' experience in the industry. Its service area includes Swansea, Carmarthen, Llandeilo, Bridgend and Port Talbot. CMR Scaffolding's scaffolding services are fully insured, and its work is insured and guaranteed.

The company also has a tube straightener to straighten bent scaffolding tubes for other companies. Its services include scaffold design and labour, scaffolding erection and installation, load bearing scaffolds, chimney stacks, exterior restoration scaffolds, and temporary roof structures.

In Swansea, accounts of CMR Scaffolding show two sharply different sides. Praise centres on the quality of the finished work and the conduct of the crew, with Tony and James named for keeping clients informed from the first survey through to installation. Punctuality, polite and professional behaviour, and a competitive price come up more than once, as does the tidiness of the site after the scaffold comes down. One customer describes a chimney liner job where the team worked carefully around large plant pots and left the roof tiles undamaged.

Against this, the recurring complaints concern reliability and communication. A double glazing job is described as the scaffolders failing to arrive on the agreed day, turning up late the next morning, and then leaving the structure standing well after the installation had finished, with no word on when it would be taken away. Another account describes belongings left scattered following removal and marks on a neighbouring fence where the metalwork had brushed against it. The pattern that emerges is of capable workmanship undermined by inconsistent attendance and poor updates when things go wrong.
