JLC Scaffolding Services Limited

JLC Scaffolding Services Limited is a family-run business with over 90 years of experience across 3 generations. The company operates a team of fully trained and insured scaffolding contractors and holds CHAS certification. It provides scaffolding services throughout London and Essex, covering all of London, surrounding areas, and the M25 corridor. The company supplies scaffolding hire to some of the UK's leading construction businesses.

Its main services include contract, domestic and commercial scaffolding. It erects scaffolds for flats, including complete works up to 5 storeys high, and provides access solutions for new build developments and housing estate projects. It offers chimney stack scaffolding services for commercial and residential properties, scaffolding solutions for flat refurbishments and flat roofing projects, and scaffolding for heritage projects, commercial fit outs and domestic projects.

Scaffolding for exterior painting and similar access jobs is the work that recurs throughout the feedback, and the speed of response is mentioned repeatedly. Several customers describe how swiftly the team arrived after an enquiry, with a last-minute painting project taken on at short notice. Punctuality is a further theme: reviewers note arrival at the agreed time, erection on the scheduled day and dismantling promptly once the work was finished.

Communication before and after the job earns consistent praise, from quick replies to emails to clear updates, and one account highlights help with securing a pavement licence plus a referral to a trusted roofer. Pricing is described as reasonable and fair across multiple accounts, while the crew is called courteous, polite and professional. Tidiness is also highlighted, with the premises left clean and tidy after the scaffold came down. Jack and the wider team are named for their friendly, conscientious manner, and the administrative support is singled out as organised and caring. Customers say they would book again for future projects.
