What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Trainees attending courses at the Durham site describe a mixed experience shaped largely by the instructor they encounter. Those who completed IPAF and PASMA training repeatedly praise the relaxed atmosphere and the clarity of the teaching, with Brian named as a standout figure who makes participants feel at ease throughout the course. Several reviewers note that the venue is straightforward to locate within the industrial estate and that parking is readily available, while the wider staff team is described as helpful and welcoming during course administration.

On the other hand, a recurring theme among less favourable accounts concerns the conduct of some trainers, with complaints about an unprofessional attitude and a hostile manner during a 3a3b course. Others report being let down badly on a project, and one reviewer describes an interaction that felt confrontational over something as minor as borrowing a pen. The pattern that emerges is of a training provider whose practical instruction and approachable instructors win genuine appreciation, yet where consistency in customer service and trainer behaviour remains the central source of dissatisfaction.

There have a attitude problem unprofessional

Attended the 3a3b course in Durham, and the experience was nothing short of appalling. From the moment I arrived, the lead trainer, Kevin Blakey, created a hostile and unprofessional environment. When I politely asked to borrow a pen, simply using the word “mate” as I didn’t yet know his name, his response was, “I’m not your fing mate, it’s Kevin to you.”* This set the tone for the entire course, where he and his female colleague consistently belittled and singled out attendees rather than providing constructive training. During the practical session, Kevin’s approach was more about humiliation than education, and his colleague would say one thing, then attempt to embarrass people when they followed her instructions incorrectly. The lack of professionalism and basic respect was shocking. I left feeling abused and disrespected—this is not how any training course should be conducted. If you’re looking for a supportive and professional training experience, I’d strongly advise avoiding this company.
