Summit Platforms

Summit Platforms is part of Summit Rentals Group and was founded in 2014. It is a national provider of powered access and telescopic handler hire, machine sales, contract hire, and associated training. The company supplies zero and low emissions equipment and provides free advice and site surveys.

IPAF training is offered at all depot locations and at training centres, job sites, or customer locations. Summit Platforms has depots in Glasgow, Newcastle, Wakefield, Haydock, Birmingham, East Midlands, Bristol, Portsmouth, London West, and London East.

Summit Platforms in Bristol has earned repeat custom through dependable powered access hire, according to feedback from long-standing clients. Reviewers describe competitive rates across a broad range of equipment, with machinery that is kept in excellent condition and has required no attention over several years of continuous use. One customer who moved to the company around 2015 explains that the switch followed poor service elsewhere and that the team has since supplied whatever was needed, including when requests arrived with little warning.

That same account points to helpful and approachable staff and to deliveries that arrive when promised. Another reviewer notes the conscientious attitude of those involved, describing them as pleasant people who take their work seriously. A recurring theme across the accounts is the ability to meet urgent orders, which customers present as a normal part of the service rather than an exception.

Punctuality, the state of the equipment and the manner of the team are the qualities that appear most often, and they are credited with turning first-time hires into regular arrangements. The willingness to accommodate short-notice requirements, combined with machinery customers regard as well maintained, is described as the reason they keep returning for their powered access needs.
