Triton Scaffolding Ltd is a scaffolding contractor based in Bournemouth. The company began trading in 1992, established by Graham Lafferty and Paul Challis, who are directors of the company. Both directors each have over 35 years in the scaffolding industry. Triton Scaffolding Ltd holds current Employers’ Liability Insurance and Public Liability Insurance each to the sum of £10,000,000. All scaffold operatives are CISRS registered and fully qualified and are directly employed by Triton Scaffolding Ltd. Triton Scaffolding undertakes contracts throughout Dorset and Hampshire.

The company offers a full scaffold design service throughout the construction industry, with design drawings undertaken by Optima Scaffold Designs LLP, who are represented on the NASC technical committee and with the Scaffolding Association, and carry £2m professional indemnity insurance and £5m public liability insurance. Triton Scaffolding has a dedicated team of advanced scaffolding Inspectors. The company has over 30 200kg Steinweg hoists in circulation, all with new enclosed baskets, and offers hoist hire with 300kg Geda and Elephant Hoists.

Triton Scaffolding started out in 1992 with just two directors and one lorry and now has two directors, ten lorries and a full squad of permanent staff. Triton Scaffolding provides full method statements and risk assessments for every contract, agreed with the client prior to work commencing on site, and on completion of every project a handing over certificate is issued. Triton Scaffolding undertakes work from the smallest domestic project to the largest commercial projects, including chimney stack access to temporary roof structures, and has worked on historical buildings including National Trust and English Heritage.

Triton Scaffolding Ltd is a family-run firm working across Bournemouth, and the accounts left by customers return again and again to how professionally the team goes about its business. Reviews regularly refer to reliability and punctuality, describing scaffolding that went up and came down when promised and a large weatherproof structure completed in under eight days.

Nick and Stuart are named for the effort they put in on site, and their hard work is singled out alongside the considerate and pleasant manner of the wider team. Pricing is a theme that comes up often, with one customer explaining that the final bill came in below the original figure because the job took fewer hours than anticipated. The care taken over the surroundings is another point that stands out, with the whole area left tidy from the beginning of the work through to its completion.

Several clients note how straightforward it was to deal with the firm, from the first conversation to the final removal of the equipment, and the standard of the finished scaffolding is described as high. The company takes on both domestic and larger building projects, and the impression left across the feedback is of a team that combines speed with attention to detail.
