The company is based just 5 miles outside of York. The company offers free quotes. The company has a small fleet of vehicles and enough tube and fitting scaffolding for a large and varied workload. The company especially enjoys challenging and complex work, such as heavy loading or large spans of beams.

Repeat business and word-of-mouth approval run through accounts of Yorscaff Scaffolding Ltd. Chris and Rebecca are named repeatedly for a friendly, attentive manner, and a handful of customers describe communication as clear from the first estimate through to completion. Chimney scaffolding, a house extension, re-roofing and work on fragile or unusual structures all appear in feedback, with reviewers reporting that difficult jobs were finished to a high standard and on schedule. One account mentions a local builder being impressed by the work.

Thoughtfulness towards other trades is a point that comes up often, such as erecting access so a decorator could work without difficulty. Costs are said to have matched the quoted figures, and clients who have used the firm twice mention returning for further projects. Prompt arrival when scaffolding was needed at short notice also features, alongside a readiness to accommodate awkward requests. Estimation through to completion is described as a smooth, joined-up process, with the finished result faultless in customers' eyes and the team's helpfulness remembered long after the job.
