What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Carey and the wider team stand out in feedback about this Swindon scaffolding firm, with customers repeatedly mentioning how straightforward the process felt from start to finish. Several reviewers describe a professional and polite service with prompt replies, and one account singles out the way the pavement licence was handled on the customer's behalf, sparing them the administrative chasing. A recurring point is the hands-off experience: scaffolding went up without the client needing to monitor progress, and when an overrun looked possible, the response was to ask only for updates rather than charge for extra time.

The team's willingness to keep the arrangement flexible, without trying to stretch the hire period, comes through in more than one account. Praise also covers the general reliability of the work and the courteous manner in which it was delivered. Against this, a minority of accounts describe vehicles near the Bassett depot being driven in a way that alarmed other road users, which sits uneasily beside the otherwise positive reports of the company's conduct.

On 02/03/2025, which is today at 16:44 an Abbey scaffolding van by the registration of GD65 MVX was driving incredibly dangerously and will for certain be the cause of an accident, they originally got behind my car by the m4 junction and was behind me on the backroads headed to the wroughton area, they were driving less than a metre from my rear bumper, trying to intimidate and scare me for a long time, these roads for context are incredibly dangerous as it is, then proceeded to do an incredibly dangerous overtake past me and then a cyclist where they left less than a metre’s distance between them and the cyclist again. I have reported this to the police as well but think it’s important the public know about this.If your from abbey scaffolding and reading this, sort it out!!!

Carey and the team were amazing. I honestly didn’t need to think or worry about anything. They dealt with the pavement licence and when we weren’t sure if we would overrun he said to just keep him updated. He didn’t once try to squeeze an extra week out of me. Very pleased. Highly recommend.
