AS Scaffolding Ltd

AS Scaffolding Ltd was formed in 1981 and is based in Glasgow, providing scaffolding services throughout Scotland. The company employs a workforce of over 300 and operates from a four-acre site. It is fully certified to provide and install access and handling facilities for asbestos-related projects. The company supplies complete design and access systems to many National Home Builders throughout Scotland. It provides construction, hire, and ancillary scaffolding services to clients in the Private, Commercial and Public sectors.

Scaffolding and access hire in Glasgow is the core of what AS Scaffolding Ltd provides, and the feedback gathered from customers reflects a mixed experience across the many projects the firm has handled. Several reviewers describe the erection teams as polite, considerate and respectful, with one caller thanking the three workers by name and another noting that the crew cleared every trace of mess before leaving.

Punctuality and professionalism come up often, particularly from partner organisations that have worked alongside the company on community campaigns, where deadlines were reportedly met and support was readily given. One thing mentioned again and again is the willingness to help charitable causes, with a donation to a local family drawing specific thanks for Andy.

On the other hand, a number of accounts describe problems away from the site itself, including vans blocking driveways with dropped kerbs, intimidating driving on the M8 and litter thrown from a vehicle window. Damage to a fence from stacked metal planks and a failure to give advance notice of arrival also feature among the complaints, suggesting that communication and on-road conduct are the areas where the business most frequently falls short of the standard praised on the scaffolding side.
