COY SCAFFOLDING

Wrap-around structures for roofing, towers at domestic properties and platforms for reroofing, extensions and solar panel installations are among the jobs COY SCAFFOLDING undertakes around York. Speed emerges as a recurring theme in accounts, with a short-notice request met by a structure erected the following day and teams turning up as arranged to work steadily through to completion.

Competitive, fair pricing is another point that comes up often, alongside reliability and efficiency, while quotations and communication are handled clearly both before and after work. Mathew, also referred to as Matty, is named for his skill and professional manner, and the wider crew draws praise for friendliness, courtesy and for preserving access to outside doors while assembling. Awkward locations feature regularly, among them a cramped rear yard behind a three-storey terraced property on worn timber decking, where the result was called thoughtful, competently assembled and quick.

Layout changes, longer hire periods and negotiated variations on reroof and extension schemes were taken in their stride, and a roofing firm reports engaging the company on a regular basis. Erections and dismantling are said to run to schedule, with sites left clean and a householder reporting no trouble during an extended period of hire.
