Design Scaffolding

Design Scaffolding (Bristol) Limited was established as a new company in 1990 and has been established for over 30 years. It operates from Bristol and serves Bath, Somerset, Cardiff, and the southern part of the UK. The company has a team of over 35 scaffolders, and its management team has over 100 years combined experience in the industry. It is a full member of the NASC, CITB, and is affiliated with CHAS, Safe Contractor, and Construction Line.

Its in-house Health and Safety Team holds NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications, as well as Basic and Advanced Scaffold Inspection qualifications. Scaffolding operatives are trained to the highest standards, with progression from labourer to trainee scaffolder, Part 2 qualified scaffolder, and Advanced scaffolder. The company is an Approved Haki Staircase Installer. Its hire services include shoring support scaffolding, Haki staircase systems, temporary roof systems, chute and hoist hire, structural shoring and support scaffolds, temporary fencing and security solutions, access scaffolding, and birdcage scaffolding.

The company specialises in commercial, industrial, and domestic scaffolding hire services and has worked in partnership with various organisations, councils, small businesses, and private residents. It has undertaken a project involving environmental protection scaffold in Exeter, a project providing independent scaffolding for welding works on a new footbridge in Evesham, and a project providing independent scaffolding to the front and rear of a house in Bristol for stonework access.

In Bristol, Design Scaffolding has built a following among customers who value punctual, well-organised work on projects ranging from house extensions and gable-end access to office blocks, industrial units and technically awkward domestic jobs. Reviews regularly refer to how quickly enquiries are answered and quotations supplied, and how the team then turns up on the agreed dates for both erection and dismantling. Communication is a recurring theme, with named staff including Chris, George, Lee and Stewart praised for being easy to reach and for offering practical advice when access is difficult.

Clear, competitive quotes are described as the norm, and smaller jobs are said to receive the same attention as larger development sites. Tidiness is another point that comes up often, one customer noting that a seven-man crew left the property and neighbouring ground so clean their visit was barely noticeable. Safety and professionalism on busy construction sites are also highlighted, alongside the willingness to solve tricky tasks and to keep other trades and site managers informed. That blend of thoughtful planning, careful handling of property and dependable follow-through explains why the same clients return across successive developments, large or small.
