I had originally asked HSS who quoted me over £1000 for the same rental at Smart for £300. HSS were a little standoffish too when I enquired. Stephen at Smart is such a lovely guy, really helpful and informative. No hidden extras, straightforward advice, went above and beyond to help in a situation that was very time sensitive. The team in the office were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Having never used a cherry picker before and was honestly scared, but Albert spent a good amount of time demonstrating how to operate it, repeating the process over and over to make sure everything was ok, this was on a cold, wet, dark and miserable day, I cannot thank him enough and he deserves recognition from the company. If you’re in need of any size platform I have no issues recommending them as they genuinely deserve it. Thanks again to you all, the job couldn’t have been finished without you.

Amazing service, have tried dealing with other companies and not got anywhere fast. From the moment they took my call they were professional and attentive. On arrival I was greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. The amazing engineers ran me through everything I needed to know about the machine which was brilliant. No question was too much trouble. On arrival back after our week hire I was again met by 2 guys who checked over the machine and were very welcoming. Well done guys. Will definitely be back. Let down by my normal supplier, I turned to Smart platforms in Manchester. Very easy to register with, excellent friendly service. Terry looked after booking the machine out then introduced me to the fitter that ran through all of the usage instructions. So easy to use, did exactly what it said on the tin! Will definitely go back to use when we have the need to and would highly recommend them to colleagues and friends, thanks lads all the best from Choices Decorators 👍👌👋
Five star service from Manchester depot! Friendly helpful staff and well maintained vehicles,we hired a V12 to clear our high gutters and some other DIY jobs and found it very easy to operate. Even with necessary insurances it was still cheaper to hire one of these than pay someone to do the jobs at height. Really professional covid precautions at depot too.
Hired a 17m cherry picker over a 5 day period for self drive. Setting up an account and making a booking was really easy. Terry looked after us from start to finish and an engineer gave us a full introduction to the operating procedures. When we had some operational questions on the job, engineer support was available to guide us through and they were very friendly and helpful. Returning the vehicle was quick and easy and the overall service was top notch. We will be using the firm again as the self hire they offer is pretty unique and the service and support made the job much easier.
