Summit Platforms

Summit Platforms is part of Summit Rentals Group and was founded in 2014. The company operates one of the largest and youngest fleets in the UK. It is a national provider of powered access and telescopic handler hire, machine sales, contract hire, and associated training. Summit Platforms offers IPAF training at all depot locations, training centres, job sites, or client locations.

It provides free advice and site surveys. The company supplies zero and low emissions equipment and has been investing in low and zero emission powered access machines to address sustainability. Summit Platforms has depots in Glasgow, Newcastle, Wakefield, Haydock, Birmingham, East Midlands, Bristol, Portsmouth, London West, and London East.

Summit Platforms, based in Wishaw, supplies access equipment, and the feedback left by customers centres on the conduct of the staff. Both reviewers describe friendly people who are straightforward to deal with, offering help from the start of the hire through to its finish. One calls the assistance received from everyone at the company first class, while the other notes a readiness to help in any way possible.

The same theme runs through both accounts: a team that supports the customer rather than simply handing over equipment. No particular type of access platform or project is named, and neither customer identifies a member of staff by name, so the praise rests on the general helpfulness of those who dealt with the hires from enquiry to collection.
