101 Height For Hire

101 Height For Hire provides cherry picker hire and access platform rental in Edinburgh and Central Scotland. The company's operators are IPAF-trained and accredited. It operates a MULTITEL MJ226 access platform with a 22.6-metre platform height and 12-metre outreach.

It works with trades including roofing, exterior painting, lighting, surveys, and stone masonry. Its service area includes Edinburgh, Lothians, Fife, Dundee, and Glasgow. Completed projects include gutter cleaning in Peebles, lighting repairs at the Marriott Hotel in Edinburgh, and assisting surveyors in Aberdeen.

Projects ranging from private flat repairs to work for arts and education trusts call on this Edinburgh height-access specialist, and the accounts left by those customers concentrate on the conduct of the man who runs the jobs. Rocco is the name that recurs, described as knowledgeable, professional and generous with his time, whether the task involves joining a replacement waste pipe to an existing one in a Marchmont tenement or returning a flag to the mast of a listed building.

A handful of customers describe a site visit carried out before the work began, a habit that gives them confidence the job has been properly assessed. Quick replies to calls and messages are mentioned often, along with the ease with which bookings are arranged, including one request that had to be squeezed into the following week.

Reviewers repeatedly note that the machinery makes awkward tasks straightforward, and that no request seemed too much trouble. Long-standing clients speak of years of continuous use without needing to give directions on site, while newer ones remark on the polite, respectful and friendly manner of the crew. Glazed roof work, flag installation and waste pipe connections sit among the jobs described, each finished with the same care.
