Access Plant Hire

Access Plant is an independent tool and plant hire company trading as Access Plant (Hire & Sales). It hires out a vast range of tools and plant, covering London and the South East, with a service area that includes London, Essex, Kent, Herts, Bucks, Norfolk and Suffolk.

The company offers small tools and equipment hire, and its equipment categories include access, breaking and drilling, building and site, catering, cleaning and floorcare, concrete and compaction, carpentry, fixing, grinding and sanding, fans, gardening and landscaping, heating, drying and cooling, lift and shift, lighting and power, decorating, plumbing and pumping, powered access, sawing and cutting, site safety and security, surveying, and welding.

Tool and plant hire lies at the heart of what customers describe, with reviewers repeatedly returning to the range of equipment available for both trade use and home projects. Several accounts mention taking away cement mixers, jet washes and propane gas bottles, while one describes a small pulley fault being corrected without an extra charge, presented as proof of a genuinely customer-focused approach rather than an attempt to bill for every minor item. Praise for clear pricing features often, with the figure agreed over the phone said to match the final invoice exactly and no unexpected costs appearing later.

Staff, particularly Gary on the counter, are singled out for friendly, honest and helpful advice, including guidance for those less familiar with plant hire. Competitive rates compared with larger names are a recurring theme, as is the speed and simplicity of the hiring process from first enquiry through to collection. Customers describe the equipment as reliable and the service as welcoming to newcomers who need some direction. The recurring picture is of straightforward, well-priced local hire backed by knowledgeable staff.
