Smart Platform Rental Limited

Smart Platform Rental Limited operates a Birmingham depot called the Midlands Expressway Hub. The company offers cherry picker hire in Birmingham with self-drive and operated options. It provides a wide range of van mount and truck-mounted access platforms. The company serves central Birmingham, Solihull, Walsall, and further afield. It provides IPAF training, PASMA training, ladder training, and on-site training.

Powered access hire lies at the heart of the service that customers describe, with platforms and trained operators supplied for jobs where scaffolding would not have worked. Repeat clients in the signage and pest control trades describe years of dependable support, and the helpfulness of named staff comes up again and again: Vivien, Angela, Len and Richard are singled out for their assistance, while Adrian and Matt are thanked for arranging a twenty metre platform with an operator so a builder could repair cottage chimneys. Reviews time and again mention the expertise of the engineers who deliver pre-hire training, describing one as friendly, approachable and thoroughly familiar with the machinery.

Cleanliness of the equipment also features, with a recently plated vehicle noted as tidy and fresh-smelling. The willingness to solve awkward access problems stands out, including a platform sent to a site in Hull where Mike was praised for his help, and operators who kept everyone safe throughout the work. Communication before and after jobs is described as straightforward, with customer needs met as a matter of course, and urgent requirements handled without fuss, whether a cherry picker is being collected or a platform dispatched at short notice.
