T A H Access Platforms

T A H Access Platforms was first established in 2008. The company is a small team with over 20 years of experience in the access platform industry. Based in West Norwood, it serves Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, the wider London region and the Home Counties, and can travel further afield across the rest of the country depending on the work. All access platforms are supplied and operated by a member of the company's team.

The team is fully trained and assessed as IPAF operators, and the business is recognised by the Construction Plant Hire Association. All machines are inspected every 6 months in compliance with LOLER. Harnesses, high-visibility vests, cones and relevant signage are provided with all hire services at no extra cost. The company specialises in truck and track-mounted articulated fly-jib machines. It offers cherry picker hire and access platform hire.

Contractors carrying out external wall surveys and PAS 9980 assessments feature prominently among the projects described, with the firm's access platforms hired repeatedly for that work over an extended period. Derek and Giovanni are named by several customers, who describe the pair as a dependable team that provides modern, safe equipment and is consistently available to offer guidance.

The quality of advice given at the point of hire is a recurring theme, alongside the reliability of delivery: one reviewer notes the cherry picker arrived on schedule, while another describes progressing from no operating knowledge to confident use within half an hour. Reviews regularly refer to the condition of the fleet, describing the machines as well maintained and straightforward to operate, and truck mounted units are singled out as a strength.

Pricing is characterised as fair and sensible, and the responsiveness of the owner, reachable by telephone whenever required, is highlighted. Problem solving recurs too, with the team described as willing to make extra effort so that jobs are completed. The training provided when handing over equipment is praised for its clarity, and the overall manner of staff is portrayed as friendly and easy to work with. The cherry picker hire and wall survey work remain the most frequently cited applications.
