Tool and plant hire in Cambridge draws mixed accounts from customers, with helpfulness among staff appearing repeatedly alongside concerns about reliability. Several reviewers describe a friendly reception and quick resolution of requests, including thanks to a team member who located a stand for a mixer and delivered it personally so work could continue without interruption. Jordan at the Cambridge branch is named for patience and professionalism while arranging a dehumidifier delivery, remaining kind despite repeated follow-up calls. Hiring a scaffold tower to build a room at the back of a house is recalled positively, with the right equipment supplied and matters sorted in little time.

Against this, dependability and communication recur as problems. One account describes a scissor lift booked by phone that failed to arrive, with promised next-day delivery and a 10.30 arrival both missed before the booking was reportedly cancelled for lack of availability. Another reviewer reports repeated calls being cut off. Charges also feature in complaints, with one customer alleging unexpected extra costs on a ladder hire. The branch can be helpful and well-stocked, yet its reliability is questioned when equipment does not turn up.
